Welcome from the Minister

Hello and welcome to the website for Netherlee and Stamperland Parish Church
We are a people inspired by the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and we seek to follow his leading to be a welcoming community that embraces all people with grace, love and compassion. We are part of the Church of Scotland which means we have involvement beyond our local community, throughout Glasgow and worldwide. This website will help you find information about the many activities that go on in Netherlee Church, but the best way is to come along and find out for yourself. We extend a hand of friendship to you all.

Worship Update – 07/01/2021

Following the recent government guidence we have decided there will be no Sunday morning services in either of our churches until further notice. Whilst we remain in "Lockdown" our minister will record a short reflection with prayers which can be viewed on YouTube and here on Facebook.

We will follow the Scottish Government's advice regarding public worship. However it is unlikely that public worship will resume before February 2021.

Bearing in mind the high level of transmitability of the new strain of Covid-19 it has been decided that the practice of recording a Sunday morning worship service in the Netherlee sanctuary was putting an unnecessary risk on the health of the AV Team, organist, minister and others. As a consequence, for the next few weeks, our minister will record a reflection with prayers and this will be uploaded to the church YouTube channel.

Once the government permits holding public worship with congregations of up to 20 people we plan to revert to making a live broadcast and recording of worship in Netherlee sanctuary. Only members of the AV Team, organist and minster will be present in the church for this service.

Once the government permits holding public worship with congregations of up to 50 people we plan to having two services each Sunday morning.

As always please click the following link to access the services on our YouTube channel. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxduv5ktG1ctk5Zu4u8WRPQ

If you have any further questions, Please do not hesitate to contact our minster, Rev Scott Blythe on 07504 692046 (happy to respond to calls and texts)
