Welcome from the Minister

Hello and welcome to the website for Netherlee and Stamperland Parish Church
We are a people inspired by the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and we seek to follow his leading to be a welcoming community that embraces all people with grace, love and compassion. We are part of the Church of Scotland which means we have involvement beyond our local community, throughout Glasgow and worldwide. This website will help you find information about the many activities that go on in Netherlee Church, but the best way is to come along and find out for yourself. We extend a hand of friendship to you all.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) impact on Worship - All worship in both our church buildings is cancelled until further notice. A weekly message by Rev Scott Blythe will be available on YouTube, Facebook and email.

As a consequence of the Scottish Government's decision to move forward from lockdown to Phases 2/3 of its planned emergence from lockdown, the Session of this Church intends to open for Private Prayer alternatively at Stamperland/Netherlee sanctuaries on Wednesday mornings. Eventually, when Phase 3 has been announced by the Government, we will seek to restore Sunday Worship at 10:00 am Netherlee and 11:30 Stamperland Sanctuary.

However, before we open the Church of Scotland is asking that all churches carry out Risk Assessments to cover the safe conduct of each of these events and ensure safety for all attending. Currently, we in the church are seeking to complete these assessments and we will not open for either Private Prayer or Worship until they are complete. We will endeavour to make all people aware of our progress through our websites.

If you have any further questions, Please do not hesitate to contact our minster, Rev Scott Blythe on 07504 692046 (happy to respond to calls and texts)
