The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated during morning worship where we baptise children and adults. Since the parents presenting their child for baptism they are required to make profession of their faith, and promise to bring the child up within the Church. The minister will offer guidance in every circumstance.
Wedding services occur regularly at Netherlee and are arranged by the couple, in conjunction with our minister. Any member of Netherlee Church, any son or daughter of a member, or a person, not a member, but living within the parish of Netherlee, is entitled to be married in the Church by the minister. The minister will spend time discussing the nature and content of the marriage service with the couple.
Our minister, Elders and pastoral care team are on hand to help during a bereavement. Funeral services can take place in Netherlee Church as well as at the crematorium. Any member or parishioner living within Netherlee can ask for the minister’s services, and we would recommend that the minister be consulted about the funeral arrangements as early as possible following bereavement. We also have visitors available, who are trained in bereavement counselling, and who would be pleased to visit you, to offer comfort and support in your time of need.
