The appeal is launched on Sunday 8 October. As well as accepting filled shoeboxes, we are completing boxes from congregational donations. The essentials are always welcome, but we are typically short of hats, scarves and gloves as well as small toy cars and dolls. Spare shoeboxes are also gratefully received. Please leave any donations in the large ‘shoebox’ in the Welcome Hall. Full detail in October’s LINK.

Monday 23 October – 7.30 pm – Lesser Sanctuary

Speaker – David A. Leslie: “Overview of volunteering trip to Zioya Orphan Centre in Malawi in July 2017 “.

This will take the form of a presentation of the experiences of the group of volunteers from local churches who formed a work party for the Christian charity ECRAD (Empowerment, Counselling, Relief and Development) in Malawi in July of this year.  The Forum is open to all, so please come along and join us for some friendship and lively discussion.

Your contributions continue to be much appreciated. Tinned meat, fish and fruit as well as juice and milk are particularly welcome at the moment, as are toileteries.  If you have any spare carrier bags, they would be very much appreciated.

There will be a retiring offering for Sri Lanka at the service on Sunday 8 October.  Gift Aid envelopes will be available in the pews from 24 September until 22 October and donations by this method can be put in the offering bag on any of the Sundays over that period.

Are you aware that if you have been unable to attend worship on a Sunday morning you can see the service from Sunday afternoon online? Many now have a “second look” enjoying seeing the service from a different angle thanks to our operators on the AV Desk. The service is streamed live on YouTube and easily obtained right here on the Website.
