WORSHIP AT NETHERLEE

Are you aware that if you have been unable to attend worship on a Sunday morning you can see the service from Sunday afternoon online? Many now have a “second look” enjoying seeing the service from a different angle thanks to our operators on the AV Desk. The service is streamed live on YouTube and easily obtained right here on the Website.

HOLIDAY CLUB

7th – 13th August 2017

As usual, the Holiday Club Team is appealing for help from the congregation in gathering items for crafts.  This year, we are looking for Jam Jars.  If you have any spare (empty) 1lb jam jars, please place them in the Holiday Club box in the Welcome Hall.  Also, if any former leaders or helpers have a Holiday Club polo shirt they no longer require, we would be very happy to receive them too.   “Blue shirts” can also be placed in the box in the vestibule.  For further information please contact the minister or Glenda Cook, or email office@netherleechurch.org

JOURNEYS IN THE BIBLE AND WITH THE CONGREGATION

Following the popularity of our “Bag” theme last summer, we decided to continue this but with a slightly different twist. We have folding lightweight shopping bags that can fit into a pocket or handbag. The bags have the same logo as last year,  “I will be with you wherever you go.”  We also have pens with the same logo.  As before, the congregation is encouraged to take a bag and pen on their travels this summer and take a picture of them at a favourite place or famous site. Pictures should be sent to the church office for display during worship to  office@netherleechurch.org

The bags available for sale at a cost of £2.50 which includes a free pen – a bag for your journey and a pen to write your postcard!
