Sewing Groups

Nethrelee is blessed with some excellent sewers and craftspeople, who create beautiful works of art in fabric. Some of these designs are used to grace the church, such as the banners that hang above our altar, adding greatly to the colour and contemplation of our worship.

Both groups meet in Kirk House, where new members would be made most welcome. For more information, please contact Sandra McKinnon, via the Church Office at netherleechurch@btconnect.com.

The Banner Group
A friendly group of enthusiastic sewers, who try to enhance worship by interpreting various aspects of the Christian calling in banner making. The group meets on a Monday night at 7.30pm.

The Craftwork Group
A group of assorted craftworkers who meet once a week for chat, coffee and an exchange of ideas. The group is open to anyone on Thursday afternoons at 2pm.
