Guides

Guiding is a worldwide movement, enabling girls and young women to fulfil their potential and take an active and responsible role in society, through a stimulating and challenging programme of activities, delivered by trained volunteer leaders. We offer everything from outdoor adventures to learning new skills like first aid, along with opportunities to get involved in community action projects, camping and trying new sports. In Netherlee, we have a very active and long-established Guiding Unit, providing fun and friendship for girls aged between 5 and 25 years as follows:
• Rainbows (3 units) for girls aged 5 - 7 years. Meet Thursdays and Fridays during school term
• Brownies (4 units) for girls aged 7 - 10 years. Meet Mondays, Thursdays & Fridays during school term
• Guides (2 units) for girls aged 10 - 14 years. Meet Mondays and Thursdays during school term
• Rangers (1 unit) for young women aged 14 - 25 years .Meet Mondays during school term
