Temporary Office Administrator – Presbytery of Glasgow
The Presbytery of Glasgow requires a Temporary Office Administrator to join the team in our city centre offices. The successful applicant will provide additional administrative help during a period of change in the office, working 25 hours per week (flexible across five days – Monday to Friday), initially for three months. Salary circa £9,900 / annum (pro rata).
Previous experience of labour intensive administrative tasks, a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and good English language skills would be an advantage. A full job description is available from the ‘Opportunities’ section of the Presbytery website at www.presbyteryofglasgow.org.uk.

Baptism of Theo Anderson William Morrison
The baptism of Theo Anderson William Morrison took place in the church on Sunday 28 April. Mum Lynsay is the daughter of Weston Barclay, one of our Elders. Wee brother Finlay was baptised three years ago.

The Event you have all been waiting for is back!
The 15th Y.F quiz night is going to be epic, you don't want to miss it! Find your team of 4 ready to do battle on Sun 2nd June 7.00 for 7.15pm start in the Large Hall. COMMUNITY HERB GARDEN
We now have a community herb garden at the back of the church. Please pick fresh herbs as you want. If you have spare pots of herbs we would welcome them to increase the service.
ACTIVE KIDS VOUCHERS
Sainsbury's are once again running their Active Kids Voucher scheme. If you have any spare vouchers, please leave them at the welcome desk and they will be passed to Netherlee Primary.
FLOWER ROTA
Anyone who wishes to donate flowers on a certain date, please add your name to the rota in the welcome hall. Thank you.
SECOND HAND BOOK STALL
in the large hall every Sunday with proceeds to new sound system. All donations of books or DVD'S (not videos), most welcome.
YOUR FAVOURITE HYMN?
Members of the congregation are invited to request a favourite hymn to be sung during morning worship. There may be a particular Sunday that would make the singing of the hymn especially meaningful, i.e. an Anniversary. The sheet available on the Welcome Desk to make the request on the Sunday of your choice.

Visitors from St Andrews Scots Kirk, Colombo, Sri Lanka
We had a visit on Sunday 7th April from the Elder in St Andrews Scots Kirk , Colombo who is responsible to the Kirk Session there for the running of Netherlee Cottage. Eric and Gilian Mailler brought greetings from the Kirk, and presented Tom with a book giving an update on Netherlee Cottage.
