Church Services

Worship takes place at Netherlee every Sunday at 11.00 am, with special evening services throughout the year. We worship God with a mix of prayer, scripture, music and sacrament – and always in a spirit of fellowship. We also hold a short, midweek service every Wednesday morning at 10.00 am. After this service, we meet for tea, coffee and chat in the Large Hall.

Communion Services are held in March, June and September, with monthly evening communions at 6.30 pm on the first Sunday of the month throughout autumn and winter. We also hold a special Easter Sunday Family Communion, where children who, following family discussion feel they understand and appreciate the nature of communion, are very welcome to take the sacrement.

Netherlee is a church for families, for singles; for friends, for the curious; for the joyful, for the weary; for the frail and for the young, and we offer a mix of traditional and modern ways to worship, so that everyone feels at home. Music forms an important part of our services and the choir leads us with new and old hymns from CH4.

During July and August, our Summer Sun Days services provide a bright and cheerful start to the day. These family services start at 10am, with tea and coffee served at 10.30am, to allow for a chat before the remainder of the service continues at 11am.
