The Guild

The Guild is a movement within the Church of Scotland, which invites and encourages women - and men - to commit their lives to Jesus Chris and enables them to express their faith in Worship, Prayer and Action.
Netherlee's Guild offers a varied programme of speakers, music and crafts, meeting regularly between October and March. Meetings take place on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday evening and the 2nd and 4th Thursday afternoon of each month. A lift can be arranged for anyone keen to be there but unable to access transport.
During the summer months, everyone is welcome for a chat over tea and coffee at our weekly coffee mornings, with funds raised going towards our chosen charity, which has recently included the James Nelson Trust Fund.
A keenly anticipated event in the calendar is the Guild outing in May. Previous trips have seen the group venture to Troon, Dumfries and Dunoon.
