Thereafter, we would meet on Thursday evenings from 5 March at 7:30 at Netherlee Church. The material being explored is the book ‘God of Surprises’ by Gerard W. Hughes SJ.

Christian Aid Art Show

Will be held on 14th March in Carmichael Hall, Giffnock

The committee would appreciate help on Friday morning from 9.30am to help set up, on the Saturday from 4.00pm to clear away and also help in the tearoom on the Saturday.  Please speak to Walter, Vicky or Marjorie if you could help.  Thank you.

Glasgow SE Foodbank

Thank you for your consistent support, however supplies of the following items are running low – UHT milk, tinned potatoes/meat/fish/fruit/tomatoes and diluting juice.  If it’s more convenient, cash donations are very much appreciated as they can be used to buy vouchers for hot meals.

Soft Toys & Chocolate

We are looking for soft toys, in good condition, and chocolate for a Toy/Chocolate Tombola to be held at the Starchild event on 28 March in the church.  Please place in labelled box in Welcome Hall.  Thank you.

Worship at Netherlee

Are you aware that if you have been unable to attend worship on a Sunday morning you can see the service from Sunday afternoon online? Many now have a “second look” enjoying seeing the service from a different angle thanks to our operators on the AV Desk. The service is streamed live on YouTube and easily obtained right here on the Website.

Choir at Netherlee

Looking to join a choir this year? Netherlee Church Choir is seeking new members. We are a fun and very sociable choir who enjoy singing along with much laughter and fellowship. Rehearsals are held in the Church on a Thursday evening from 7.45pm (men meet at 7.15pm) until 9.15pm and rehearse on a Sunday morning at 9.30pm for a 45 minute service starting at 10am. For further information please contact the organist at office@netherleechurch.org.
