LODGING HOUSE MISSION

There is an open invitation to everyone to attend the annual homelessness service on 3rd February 2019 at 6.30pm. Although Homelessness Sunday is the week before, this has been postponed for 7 days to capture the services of the Moderator of the Church of Scotland, The Right Reverend Susan Brown. We do hope that you will show support for this cause as well as enjoying hearing the Moderator’s address.
Could you please speak to either Alistair Gow or Christine McGowan If you would be willing to participate in the LHM Saturday Church rota 1 /17 weeks), to carry out the basic preparation and serving of food under the supervision of the weekend chef and the duty manager. The hours are between 9 and 2.30pm, with some Churches send a morning team and a separate afternoon team.
As intimated previously, donations of socks, boxer shorts and gloves can be left in the box located in the Welcome Hall.

Are you aware that if you have been unable to attend worship on a Sunday morning you can see the service from Sunday afternoon online? Many now have a “second look” enjoying seeing the service from a different angle thanks to our operators on the AV Desk. The service is streamed live on YouTube and easily obtained right here on the Website.
